Description

ASPIVENIN - The emergency anti-venom procedure

ASPIVENIN® is a registered trademark that designates only the green mini-suction pump manufactured in France, which won the Lépine competition in 1983. It is a class 1 medical device.

This mini suction pump painlessly releases all venoms injected by insects (wasps, bees, horseflies, hornets, etc.), arachnids (spiders, scorpions, harvest mites, etc.), fish (stonefish, etc.) and certain stinging plants.

Its dual-chamber system with a piston lock at the end of the stroke causes an instantaneous and permanent depression, the equivalent of ten times oral suction.

Directions for use:

1) Gently place the tip best suited to the type and location of the sting or bite, then arm the pump by pulling the piston all the way (halfway for a child).

2) Place the ASPIVENIN® pump with its tip on the skin, holding it with one hand.

3) Push the piston all the way down and at the end of the stroke you will feel a powerful suction.
You then leave the ASPIVENIN® pump to act for 20 seconds to 3 minutes (adjust the suction time according to the stings or bites, refer to the instructions for use).

4) Then lift the piston button with the tip of your thumb to remove the ASPIVENIN® pump. Repeat step 2 if the pain has not disappeared.
We advise you to handle your anti-venom pump before using it by consulting the instructions. We also advise you to keep it within reach if you are in a risky environment.

Duration of application:
For maximum effectiveness of the ASPIVENIN® anti-venom pump, it is recommended to use it within 3 minutes following the sting/bite and to respect the indicated aspiration times.
